ArcBest’s CFO is retiring, and the company is looking for a replacement.

ArcBest announced on Monday that CFO David Cobb will retire in October 2023. The company is seeking his replacement.

Cobb’s 17-year tenure at ArcBest (NASDAQ: ARCB) saw the company’s revenue double to the north of $5 billion. Over that time, the company has developed a transportation and logistics offering that rivals the size of its legacy LTL operations. ArcBest took a significant step toward balancing the two units’ sizes last year when it acquired truckload brokerage MoLo Solutions, which had $600 million in revenue then.

“David has made significant and meaningful contributions to our company during his time at ArcBest.” His collaborative spirit has been extremely valuable as ArcBest has evolved into a leading logistics company,” said Judy McReynolds, chairman, president, and CEO, in a news release.

ArcBest has recently achieved multiple all-time-high quarterly financial results.

Cobb joined the company in 2006 as controller and chief accounting officer and was promoted to CFO in 2015.

“I consider myself extremely fortunate to have spent the last 17 years at ArcBest, where we truly have some of the best people in the business.” “It has been an honor to serve as ArcBest’s CFO,” Cobb said.
