Trucker Path collaborates with Loadsmart to increase capacity.

Trucker Path is collaborating with Loadsmart to improve the booking experience for drivers and carriers across North America.

The companies’ agreement integrates Loadsmart with Trucker Path’s TruckLoads freight matching load board, which has nearly 100,000 carriers.

The Trucker Path community of over 1 million users now has access to loads on the Loadsmart platform with book-instant or bid-on prices.

“By incorporating Loadsmart into our ecosystem, we will provide more load opportunities to owner-operators and small fleets when and where they need them through a fully seamless digital booking experience,” said Jeff Ogren, Trucker Path’s senior vice president of business development and strategy, in a statement.

Based in Mountain View, California Trucker Path is a mobile app that assists truckers in locating truck stops, real-time parking availability, fuel prices, weigh station status, truck scales, wash locations, and other useful information.

According to Loadsmart officials, the collaboration with Trucker Path will allow them to drive carrier utilization and provide freight hauling opportunities to small carriers and owner-operators.

Chicago-based Loadsmart is a digital platform that connects shippers and carriers in order to create a more sustainable supply chain.

“By partnering with Trucker Path, we are able to tremendously expand our capacity ecosystem,” said Loadsmart’s vice president of operations, Jim Nicholson. “This means that there will be more eyes on freight that needs to be moved and more opportunities for carriers and drivers to find profitable loads.”
