EFW, a freight: Estes Forwarding Worldwide (EFW) announced Monday, 13 March, that it has acquired Legacy Logistics, a provider of trade show logistics and exhibit services.

Based in Reading, Pennsylvania Legacy handles trade show, tour, and event transportation, warehousing, and storage. It also handles retailer fixture and display setups.

The acquisition broadens EFW’s existing events business. Legacy’s customers will benefit from EFW’s national warehouse network, enhanced technology, and freight forwarding services.

The transaction’s financial terms were not disclosed.

“Acquiring Legacy Logistics strengthens our ability to provide trade show solutions to our customers,” said EFW CEO Scott Fisher. “Their trade show experience and cultural fit will strengthen us and benefit our clients and employees.”

Legacy will now be known as the EFW Tradeshow.
